The Subway Surfers World Tour has rolled into Buenos Aires, the 223rd stop on the tour, and it’s packing plenty of new content for runners. This update brings two brand-new characters, three new boards, and a full Season Hunt built around one of Argentina’s most iconic symbols. Here’s everything in the Buenos Aires 2026 update, what to grab, and what’s worth your coins.
Santi Grafito and Matilda join the crew as this update’s new playable characters. Both are unlockable during the Buenos Aires event window through the usual routes — the in-game shop and event rewards — so check the character menu early and plan your coin spending accordingly.
The update also included a crossover character, bbno$, the musician. He was available as a limited-time unlock tied to the event window (September 14 – October 4, 2026). If you unlocked him during that period, congrats — he’s now in your permanent roster. If you missed him, keep an eye on future events; SYBO has a habit of bringing popular crossover characters back.
Three new boards arrived with this update:
As always, boards are worth unlocking if you run regularly: the once-per-run “survive a crash” save plus the board’s special power-up combo make them one of the highest-value purchases in the game.
This update’s Season Hunt collectible is Ceibo Flowers — the bright red blooms of Argentina’s national flower. Pick them up along the tracks during your runs and trade them in for event rewards, including tokens toward the new characters and boards. Season Hunts are timed, so run daily while the event is live to make sure you collect enough.

When did the Buenos Aires 2026 update launch? The Buenos Aires stop launched on September 14, 2026.
Can I still get the bbno$ character? His event window (September 14 – October 4, 2026) has ended. He may return in a future event — SYBO has brought back limited characters before.
What are Ceibo Flowers for? They’re the Season Hunt collectible for the Buenos Aires update — collect them during runs and exchange them for event rewards.
